Committed To Your Online Success

Continued from the Home Page.

My intention, when building and designing this site, was to assist the creatives of the world that don’t feel like they fit anywhere else. You see people promoting all kinds of things online — There are Network Marketers, Affiliate Marketers, Internet Marketers, old-school Corporate promotional techniques, but none of these seem like a good fit for you.

You have passion, drive and are a creative old soul. You find bits and pieces of information here and there that seem to be useful but not quite right for what you’re trying to do. You want to spend all of your time in the studio or at home creating your heart out. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that! But if you don’t promote yourself, how will anyone find you? How will you reach your financial goals? You may do well in small local circles, but is that enough? I know that most artists think that if they follow traditional branding and promotional methods that they will be “selling out,” they will lose their soul in order to get the recognition and financial compensation they deserve. I’ve been in business for over 30 years and I’ve never been tempted to sell my soul just to make money. There is a market out there just waiting for your creative projects to hit the market. So, how do you find these people?

I’m here to let you look over my virtual shoulder so-to-speak and show you how to keep the heart and soul of your creative works totally intact.  I will reveal the best practices and show you how to successfully utilize all of the online tools and techniques available to us in 2015. When you invest in time here with me, you will see that you will reach your target market quickly and with as little time away from your projects as possible!

I encourage you to connect with me on social media (just click the scrolling floating icons to the left). If you have any questions or need one-on-one support, just contact me. I’m easy to find.

So, what do you do now? I suggest you Start Here.

To your online success,

    • So glad you approve Lesly! I liked your design for your blog so much that I had to make a change. You inspired me!

I know we spoke about this journey of mine last year, but I wasn’t ready… until now! I think you for all the support and love I receive from Power Affiliate Club and the wonderful member/friends there.

Thank you also for taking time to stop by and comment.

  1. I love the reminder that creative types need to save some of that creativity for their marketing, especially if they need to make a living.

Beautiful works of art whether paintings or compositions and everything in between benefit from being known. We would not know any of the famous artists if they had stayed in hiding with their art. Find the audience that loves your work, your tribe, and they will happily share it for you!

    • Hello Mary! So glad to see you here!

Yes, along with the hard work and enjoyment, we have to also take care of our money. We need to invest in our business or else it is just a hobby. What you say is very valuable: find your audience your tribe. Then your business grows!

Thank you for commenting and visiting!

  2. Great look on your blog, Deborah! I like your new emphasis. My son Andrew is one of those uniquely creative types. Since the age of 5 he’s been coming up with an amazing array of creative projects. So far he hasn’t used any of them to make money, but perhaps some day…

    • Hello Willena:

Thank you so much for validating my focus. It is really hard for creative-types to see the business-side of things. Again, that’s why I’m doing this. Too many talented souls think that what they are truly passionate about has to stay a hobby. I hope for everyone’s sake, he does find a way to take it to its full potential.

      I so appreciate the visit!

      • I hope so too, Deborah! He is so versatile — he’s done everything from making jewellery to stickmen in awesome scenes, yarn dolls to carving a chain out of a single piece of wood… and many other varied projects. When the day comes for him to make money from an interest, it will probably be something I would never have dreamed of before.

  3. You have unique positioning in this internet space. I met a woman online that would be perfect for you to work with. I will try and reach out to her and connect you both! This was an inspirational share :)!

    • NT! Glad to see you here!

You know how much I enjoy your blog and all of the value you give on your site, your words are very much appreciated! I love networking so thank you for thinking of me in such a nice way.

      Continued success my friend!

  4. Hi Deborah

Being new to your blog (from PAC) so can’t really comment on the change – but the end result looks great.

I wish I were more creative – although I enjoy writing, so perhaps that counts.

  5. Hi Deborah,

Love your new site and theme! Very unique and creative 🙂 What resonated with me the most about this post, was the statement “if you do not promote yourself, how will anyone find you”…….so many think that they can just post a link or two, especially on social media and people will just flock to them lol NOPE lol you have to be consistent daily 🙂 That way you will show people who you are by sharing your wonderful and creative side (which is what bloggers have)

Great site and yes I agree with Lesly it is definately “you”

    Big hugs,
    Joan

    • Hello there Joan!

I so appreciate your comment! I need good feedback, opinions that I can trust. This means a lot to me. Yes, it’s all too common that people think they can post a link and be financially self-sufficient in a month or so. It’s sad really. All we can do is be responsible marketers and bloggers and tell people the real story.

Thank you for visiting and commenting!

  7. Hi Deborah,
Thanks for this post. It was so refreshing to be reading a different perspective on marketing. Artists do need to market their work and to earn from it and like you said if it’s not promoted no one will know about them or their work. Therefore, this is serious business to be taken seriously and tokenism will not work. Thanks for sharing with us.
    All the best.
    Vinton.

    Hello Deborah,

I LOVE your new site! It’s so fresh and I can feel that it’s the artistic you. I heard you were doing some fun things to bring artists together. I’m so happy for you!

    Take care,
    Lillian

    • Oh, thank you so much for the support Lillian!

I’m so glad you like it. This will be my last main focus. I’ve done so much in 30+ years but this will be my baby. That’s why I call my site Deborah 360. It will encompass all of the creativity I have. 🙂

Thank you for the visit and the comment!

  9. This site is indeed lovely. I appreciate it more each time I come back!

It sort of just says Come in and play with me!

Great job! I gather this has been a lengthy work in progress you must be so excited to see the fruits of your labor!

    Congratulations!

  10. Well done. Nicely put together. As you said the job is never done there is always more to learn and add on. It is natural to look for perfection. I agree with you on focusing on the need of other. By doing so our own needs are taken care.

  11. Deborah,
What an incredibly beautiful and artistic web site. And you are providing a really important service for artists and upcoming online entrepreneurs. Your approach and the appearance of your site are giving me ideas for my MarketingOurPractices.com web site for therapists. They are also a group that does not fit into the ordinary marketing styles, in fact many tend to shy away from online marketing.

Keep up the good work. I love your photography and now your web site too.

    Warmly,
    Dr. Erica
